ECO BOYS AND GIRLS CELEBRATE WORLD WATER DAY

Eco Boys and Girls  and correspondent Sarah Dayringer celebrate World Water Day with a question “What are you doing to prevent climate change?” Youth around the world attending the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Doha, Qatar, were asked this question and a video montage was created.

The International Year of Water Cooperation is guided by the slogan - “water, water everywhere, only if we share”.

World Water Day is held yearly on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocation for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. Each year, World Water Day highlights a specific aspect of freshwater.

Sarah Dayringer is a highly accomplished consultant on various topics concerning climate change policy, children and youth and has participated in global sustainable development agendas around the world. Some of her notable achievements are work with SustainUS, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, United Nations Environmental Program’s TUNZA, Steering committee and lead in organizing the drafting of the Bandung Declaration.
