ECO BOYS AND GIRLS RELEASE "FUTURE WE WANT" VIDEOS ON HUMAN SOLIDARITY DAY

ECO BOYS AND GIRLS release 4 videos in celebration of International Human Solidarity Day, December 20, 2012.

Videos created during the UN Earth Summit at Rio+20 include THE FUTURE WE WANT; HOW DO YOU TAKE ACTION; HOW CAN YOUTH SCALE UP LOCAL ACTION TO MAKE GLOBAL IMPACT and TOURING RIO+20 2012 EARTH SUMMIT UN Conferences. Some highlights and featured prominent speakers, include US EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson and White House CEQ Chair Nancy Sutley, with a breakout discussion session highlighting what youth are doing today to foster a more sustainable future tomorrow.

The UN and the Concept of Solidarity has defined the work of the United Nations since the birth of the Organization that "was founded on a basic premise of unity and harmony among its members expressed in the concept of collective security that relies on the solidarity of its members to unite “to maintain international peace and security”.

ECO BOYS AND GIRLS INVITED TO LAUNCH OBAMA ADMINISTRATION'S YOUTH SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE AT WHITE HOUSE

THE ECO BOYS AND GIRLS, Ernie Earth, Lulu Love, Patsy Peace, Ray Recycle and Sammy Sun are invited to The White House to launch the Obama Administration's Youth Sustainability Challenge.




Through the Youth Sustainability Challenge, The White House will challenge America’s Youth to share their voices and tell the world what they are doing to further sustainability in their own communities through a Youth Sustainability Video Challenge

ECO BOYS AND GIRLS HEAD TO THE WHITE HOUSE TO ATTEND FIRST ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION SUMMIT


ECO BOYS AND GIRLS joins the EPAand Administrator, Lisa P. Jackson with Senior Officials from the White House and other Federal Agencies for the first White House Summit onEnvironmental Education on April 16, 2012.





The White House Summit on Environmental Education brought together stakeholders both old and new to discuss an emerging vision for environmental education in the 21st century. Panelists and participants addressed the challenges of environmental education in an increasingly technology-driven world and the role of environmental education in adapting to these changes. Federal government panelists discussed the role of the federal government in environmental education.

EPA INVITES MARIA SNYDER AND OTHER REMARKABLE WOMEN TO A PARTNERSHIPS INITIATIVE


The US Environmental Protection Agency Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships Initiative is honored to invite Maria Snyder and other remarkable women to a gathering lead by faith for the health and safety of community and to help promote environmental stewardship.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency is dedicated to expanding the conversation on environmentalism and building strong partnerships. Given the role of women and faith leaders in addressing environmental issues and the dearth of spaces where women come together to celebrate and optimize their roles in this work, we chose Women's History Month to convene this roundtable.
